1. The designee will render a decision within ten business days to the Title IX Coordinator who with the assistance of the designee will provide written notice of the appeal to all parties in a timely manner from the date of the appeal review.
  2. All parties should be informed of whether the grounds for an appeal are accepted and the results of the appeal decision.
  3. Once an appeal is decided, the outcome is final: further appeals are not permitted under this policy.

H. Failure to Complete Sanctions

All respondents are expected to comply with conduct sanctions within the time frame specified in their written notice. Failure to follow through on conduct sanctions by the date specified, whether by refusal, neglect, or any other reason, may result in additional sanctions and/or suspension, expulsion, and/or termination from the University. For students, failure to comply may result in suspension and/or hold to prevent future registration.

V. Records

In implementing this policy, records of all complaints, resolutions, and hearings will be kept by the Title IX Coordinator in the Office of the General Counsel in accordance with records retention schedules of the state. To minimize the risk of improper disclosure, disciplinary records are kept under the supervision of the Title IX Coordinator in an offsite online computer database with servers in multiple locations separate from all other records. Should the integrity of the confidential records be violated, all affected parties would be notified in writing from the Title IX Coordinator.
