The Office of Student Engagement and Campus Life will notify a student who has been accused of an offense within ninety-six hours of receipt of the initial incident report at the last place of residence known to the University or at the permanent address listed on the student's registration form for that semester. The notice will set forth the specific nature of the alleged offense and will inform the student that he/she must report to the Office of Student Engagement and Campus Life or some staff member designated by the Vice President for Student Engagement and Campus Life within twenty-four hours of the receipt of this notice.

When the accused student reports to the Office of Student Engagement and Campus Life or the staff member designated by the Vice President for Student Engagement and Campus Life, the student will be informed that the following options are available to him/her:

He/she may choose to admit that he/she has committed the offense and request, that the Office of Student Engagement and Campus Life make a disposition of the matter, or,

The student may choose to admit or to deny commission of the offense and request:

To appear before the judicial body (where appropriate) that handles that offense for a hearing and disposition of the matter. NOTE: the All-University Court can hear only offenses that could result in suspension or expulsion. ii. To have his/her alleged offense resolved informally through an administrative hearing in the Office of Student Engagement and Campus Life.

At least forty-eight hours prior to a hearing of any University judicial body, an accused student will be notified in writing at the last place of residence known to the University or at the permanent address listed on the student's registration form for the semester. This notice will be given by the judicial body hearing the case and will include at least the following information:

The time, place, and date of the hearing;

The judicial body before which the student is to appear; and

Specific statements of charges.
