Your 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) was selected for review in a process called verification. To verify that you provided correct information the financial aid administrator at your school will compare your FAFSA with the information on this worksheet and with any other required documents. If there are differences, your FAFSA information may need to be corrected.

If you did not use the Federal Tax Information Approval (FTI) to complete your FAFSA, request a 2024 IRS tax transcript for yourself (if taxes filed for 2024, and your spouse (if married). See instructions (last page) on how to request a 2024 IRS tax return transcript.
