## POLICY STATEMENT:

This policy outlines the principles and guidelines for ensuring Kentucky State University (KSU) maintains a compensation system that is competitive, fair, and consistent and that maximizes the recruitment, performance, and retention of a quality workforce. All compensation practices will adhere to local, state, and federal labor laws. The President is authorized to establish regulations and procedures to implement this policy.
