To recommend policies for the University's Teacher Education Program.
Coordinate all aspects of the Teacher Education Program.
Review, recommend and enforce policies and procedures relating to admission into the Teacher Education Program and supervised teaching.
Review, recommend and enforce policies and procedures relating to student field and clinical experiences, including supervised teaching.
Review curricula leading to teacher certification and recommend curricular changes to the TEC affecting the Teacher Education Program.
Monitor Education Professional Standards Board and NCATE requirements and incorporate required changes into teacher education policies, procedures, and curricula.
