Approval of Minutes of the last meeting – Motion to approve with one correction – approved as amended.

Introductions

New Business

• FSCC 16-17-14 - Math Action Item – MAT 200 – Introduction to Statistical Reasoning and Analysis. CPE wants a statistics pathway. This is a terminal statistics class. 4 credit hour class. Community Partners involved offering real life experience. No issues with overloads. Pilot program and no issues with overloads. Offered in the Spring 2017 for a high school as dual credit. There was a motion made and seconded to approve and it was approved by the committee.

Old Business

Change in classification of common core classes – Asked by the APC to review transfer policy and realized that we need to align the KSU 42 hour core with the categories of the Statewide General Education Core which CPE requires and had taken effect Fall 2012.

This item will be tabled until we get further input from APC.
