# RESOLUTION

Whereas, Kentucky State University's Spring Commencement Exercises are scheduled to take place on Friday, May 10, 2024.

Whereas, Kentucky State University has determined that Lee Carter is deserving of a posthumous degree.

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the posthumous degree to be conferred upon Lee Carter by President Koffi C. Akakpo during the Spring Commencement is hereby approved.

We, the duly qualified officers of the Kentucky State University Board of Regents, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by the Kentucky State University Board of Regents at its quarterly meeting on April 19, 2024.
