NEW COURSE TITLE: Research Design and Methodologies
CAPSULE STATEMENT OF COURSE CONTENT FOR CATALOG: This course is designed to provide the student with knowledge, skills, and practice in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative data within the context of application to research design and methodology. The following advanced statistical techniques will be examined: analysis of variance (ANOVA / MANOVA), analysis of covariance (ANCOVA / MANCOVA), use of psychometric techniques (for instruments used in patient care, nursing education and nursing research), linear regression, multiple regression, logistic regression, and structural equation modeling (SEM).
