What's New or Changing for 2025!
The LivingWell High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) is the new Plan Option for 2025. This is a catastrophic-type of coverage. You may benefit from this Plan if you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) not from KEHP. Read more information under Health Insurance on page 8.
Specialty drugs are no longer required to be filled through CVS Specialty Pharmacy. Members can obtain specialty drugs at any in-network specialty pharmacy, including CVS Specialty Pharmacy. The same cost share (either a copay or deductible/coinsurance depending on plan option) will apply at either CVS or non-CVS Specialty pharmacies.
The PrudentRx program is no longer available to KEHP members due to recent changes to law. Members are encouraged to research and apply copay cards or drug cost assistance cards when they pick up covered drugs at the pharmacy.
New employees who fail to enroll in a health plan within 30 days of their hire date will be automatically enrolled in the Waiver without HRA.
The amount you can contribute to a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account will increase to $3,200 per year. The carryover maximum will increase to $640 per year from 2025 to 2026.
