  • Men's volleyball is one game under 500 right now, which is an improvement from last year.
  • Sottball and baseball haven't had the opportunity to play the games they are supposed to play because of the weather.
  • Golf will get into some competitions as soon as they can get out and start practicing.

B. Weight room.

  • One of the big projects they are working on is renovating the weight room. They did receive a donation from alum, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Green, towards renovating the weight room.

C. Staff.

  • AD Stepp said they hired a new trainer, Mark Perdue, and he is the second school trainer.
  • AD Stepp said David Morton, who is the head softball coach, has picked up extra responsibilities as an associate athletic director to assist with the game day operations.
  • Coach Imani Williams, who is the women's basketball coach, has assumed the role of their SWA.
  • Ramon Johnson, who is the track coach, is going to help with enrollment and retention from an athletic standpoint.

D. Scholarship allotment.

  • AD Stepp said the football allotment of scholarships has increased for the second year and the benefits were seen this past season.
  • AD Stepp said they are doing the same thing with the band and are recruiting in Ohio so that hopefully there will be 150 kids in the band in the fall.
  • Regent Fields asked if Coach Williams' position is compliance. AD Stepp said she's assisting with compliance, but she is SWA, which is senior women's administrator.
