KSU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). This policy supports the following SACSCOC standards:

| Standard 14.1 | Integrity — the university must maintain the integrity of its academic records, including grades and attendance data. |
Failure to comply may result in administrative action and impact evaluations. Non-compliance will be documented and considered in annual faculty evaluations, reappointment decisions, and for adjunct faculty, future contract renewal.
Faculty who anticipate difficulty meeting a reporting deadline should contact their department chair and the Registrar's Office proactively. Extensions may be granted in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the Provost
