Presidential Ambassador

A select group of outstanding students chosen to serve as official student representatives of the University and ambassadors of the Office of the President.

• Exemplify the traditions, values, spirit, and excellence of Kentucky State University and
• Serve as distinguished representatives of the Thorobred Family.

• Responsibilities

• Serve as an official Presidential Ambassador and distinguished representative of Kentucky State University by:
• Represent KSU and the Office of the President with the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and excellence.
• Serve as a visible and knowledgeable representative of the University at presidential, alumni, admissions, & special events.
• Engaging with distinguished guests, University leaders, alumni, donors, prospective students, families, and community partners.
• Represent the University at campus, community, and special events, both on and off campus.
• Participating in recruitment, outreach, and social media initiatives that promote the University and the Thorobred experience.
• Serving as a peer mentor and resource for current and prospective students.
• Speaking to and engaging with diverse audiences on behalf of Kentucky State University, both virtually and in person.
• Participate in community service, University service initiatives, and leadership opportunities.
• Building meaningful relationships with members of the Thorobred Family and the broader Kentucky State University community.
• Uphold the reputation, values, and traditions of Kentucky State University through exemplary conduct and service.
• Demonstrate leadership, poise, confidence, enthusiasm, and genuine pride in representing Kentucky State University
