BACKGROUND: Funding changes that exceed 1M require the approval of the Board of Regents
SUMMARY OF PROGRAMS/ACTIVITIES: A piece of property located at the Northwest quadrant of the East-West Connector and MLK is for sale. The total property is around 42 acres, with 15-17 usable. The total purchase would not exceed $1,200,000 from USDA Facility Funds, pending USDA approval. The property is intended to be used to expand the Aquaculture Program.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the expenditure of up to $1,200,000 in USDA Facility Funds to purchase property located at the Northwest quadrant of the East-West Connector and MLK in Frankfort, KY.
