NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON of the COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, as follows: The Mayor and Municipal Clerk of Jackson Township are hereby authorized and directed to execute and submit an application to the Ocean County Sidewalk Construction Grant Program for New Central Avenue, South Cooks Bridge Road, and White Road. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, if awarded funds under grant application, the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Ocean County Sidewalk Construction Grant Agreement and the mandatory Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement. And comply fully with all Grant award contingencies, including adopting or modifying all land development ordinances and property maintenance codes as required. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that certified copies of this Resolution shall be forwarded to Ocean County Engineering and the Jackson Township Municipal Engineer.
