TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON
RESOLUTION 242-2026
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has previously advertised for and received bids for the project entitled “2025 Capital Road Program”; and
WHEREAS, said bids were received on September 15, 2026 and five (5) bids were received as set forth below:

WHEREAS, by letter dated September 15, 2026, the Township Engineer, Robert VonBriel, PE has recommended to the Township Council that the Township award the contract to the apparent low bidder, L&L Paving Company, Inc., for the base bid advertised, in the amount of $1,645,000.00; and
WHEREAS, it appears the bid of L&L Paving Company, Inc., complies with the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council wishes to accept the lowest responsive bid for this project in compliance with the Local Public Contracts Law; and
WHEREAS, any approval herein is specifically conditioned upon a Certification of Funds being provided by the Townships Chief Financial Officer identifying the accounts from which payment will be made; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED this 22nd day of September, 2026 by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
The Township hereby awards a contract to L&L Paving Company, Inc., in the amount of $1,645,000.00 in accordance with their bid submitted for the Townships 2025 Capital Road Program.

This Resolution is specifically contingent upon the Certification of Funds being provided by the Townships Chief Financial Officer prior to execution of any contracts.
