RESOLUTION 038R-21 TITLE: APPOINT TOWNSHIP CLERK, JANICE KISTY TO PERFORM MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS, RE: A.B.C. LICENSES FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2021 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2021

WHEREAS, the position of performing ministerial functions regarding ABC licensing is vacant as of January 1, 2021; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary that a government official be designated to oversee these function commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Township Council to fill said position.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:

1. Janice Kisty, Township Clerk of the Township of Jackson is hereby appointed for a period commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021 to perform all ministerial functions with regard to application and granting of liquor licenses in the Township of Jackson and that she makes all necessary investigations and recommendations to the Township Council with regard to said applications and issuances of licenses and that all complaints be referred to her for report and investigation.
2. Appointee shall serve without compensation.
3. Certified copies of this resolution to Municipal Administrator, Chief of Police, Alcohol Beverage Control Commission, appointee and any other interested parties.

TITLE: APPOINT SUBDIVISION CERTIFICATION OFFICER, JANICE KISTY, TOWNSHIP CLERK

MOTION TO APPROVE BY: CHISHOLM MOTION SECONDED BY: SAUICKIE YES: BORRELLI, CHISHOLM, SAUICKIE, FLEMMING, KERN

WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-56 provides for the appointment of a municipal official who is authorized to certify whether or not a subdivision has been validly approved; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Township Council to fill said position.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:

1. That pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-36, the Township Council does hereby appoint Janice Kisty, Township Clerk, as Subdivision Certification Officer and is hereby designated for the period commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021 as the Municipal Official who shall make and issue such certificates certifying subdivision approval and she shall act in accordance with and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-56.
2. Appointee shall serve without compensation.
