WHEREAS, the position of Public Agency Affirmative Action Contract Compliance Officer is vacant as of January 1, 2021; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council has been directed by the State of New Jersey, Affirmative Action Office, to appoint a Public Agency Contract Compliance Officer in accordance with P.L. 1975 c.127; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council is desirous of filling such vacancy.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:

1. That pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-36, the Township Council does hereby appoint Diane Festino to the position of Affirmative Action Contract Compliance Officer commencing January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021.

  1. Appointee shall receive such compensation as set forth by the annual salary ordinance.

WHEREAS, the position of Assessment Search Officer is vacant as of January 1, 2021:

WHEREAS, it is necessary that a government official be designated as Assessment Search Officer for the period commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Township Council to fill said position.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:

  1. That pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:69A-36, the Township Council does hereby appoint Janice Kisty, RMC, as the person so designated to issue “Certificate as to the Liability of Assessment for Municipal Improvements” for the Township of Jackson in accordance with Chapter 269, Supplement to R.S. 54-4:11.
  2. Certified copies of this resolution to Municipal Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Auditor, appointee, and any other interested parties.
