1. That Terence Wall is hereby appointed as Jackson Township’s Community Development Block Grant Representative and Julio Vega is appointed as Alternate Representative to the Ocean County Development Block Grant Program for the calendar year 2021.
2. That the Clerk is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of it to the Director of the Ocean County Community Development Block Grant Program, appointees and to any other interested parties.

TITLE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF TOWNSHIP ADMINISTRATOR, TERENCE WALL, AS FUND COMMISSIONER TO THE OCEAN COUNTY JOINT INSURANCE FUND FOR CY 2021

MOTION TO APPROVE BY: SAUICKIE MOTION SECONDED BY: FLEMMING YES: BORRELLI, CHISHOLM, SAUICKIE, FLEMMING, KERN

WHEREAS, membership in the Fund provides for the appointment of a Fund Commissioner to represent the interest of the township; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Township Council to fill said positions.

WHEREAS, the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Township Council, desires to appoint Terence Wall as Fund Commissioner to the Ocean County Joint Insurance Fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:

1. Terence Wall is hereby appointed as Fund Commissioner to the Ocean County Joint Insurance Fund for a term commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021.
2. Appointees shall serve without additional compensation.
3. Certified copies of this resolution to Municipal Administrator, the Fund, Appointees and any other interested parties.

WHEREAS, the position of Tax Search Officer is vacant as of December 31, 2020; and

WHEREAS, under date of January 1, 2021, the Mayor has advised the Township Council of his appointment of Michael Campbell as the Tax Search Officer of the Township of Jackson pursuant to and in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:69A-43(b); and
