WHEREAS, official Minutes of Jackson Township Council meetings have been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the Township Clerk has reviewed these Minutes and has submitted them to the Town Council for their approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, that;

TITLE: AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON AND MONMOUTH WIRE & COMPUTER RECYCLING, INC. FOR REMOVAL OF COLLECTED ELECTRONICS FOR A ONE (1) YEAR PERIOD AT NO COST TO THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON

WHEREAS, Jackson Township desires to enter a contract agreement for removal of collected electronics to provide an environmentally safe eWaste recycling solution for its residents at no cost to the Township of Jackson; and
WHEREAS, Irina Darrar, Recycling Coordinator, is requesting authorization to enter into this contract with Monmouth Wire & Computer Recycling, Inc. for a one (1) year period upon signatures from both parties; and
WHEREAS, the service to be provided by Monmouth Wire & Computer Recycling, Inc. is at no cost to the residents of the Township of Jackson and the recycling process will assist in an environmentally friendly process for the recycling of such electronics as computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards printers, televisions, telephones, cell phones, radios, wire and cables, cameras, X-rays, air conditioners, microwaves, aluminum siding, motors, radiators, transformers, and other electronics and equipment; and
WHEREAS, it is now the desire of this Township Council to act upon the recommendation of the Jackson Township Recycling Coordinator.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
