  1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and the Township Clerk to attest to an agreement with Carmen J. Memoli of the firm Memoli & Company, PC
  2. That this contract is awarded as a Professional Service in accordance with N.J.S.A.
  3. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(I) of the Local Public Contracts Law because it is for services to be performed by person(s) authorized by law to practice a recognized profession.
  4. That a notice of this action shall be printed once in the official newspaper of the Township of Jackson.
  5. That this resolution shall take effect immediately.
  6. That a certified copy of this resolution shall be provided by the Township Clerk to the Chief Financial Officer and Carmen J. Memoli of the firm Memoli & Company, PC

TITLE: AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN ADDENDUM TO THE “OCCARESGRANT” AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON AND THE COUNTY OF OCEAN

MOTION TO APPROVE BY: SAUICKIE MOTION SECONDED BY: FLEMMING YES: BORRELLI, SAUICKIE, FLEMMING, KERN ABSENT: CHISHOLM

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 261R-20, the Township of Jackson has previously authorized the execution of an Agreement between the Township of Jackson and the County Ocean for the OCCARESGRANT; and

WHEREAS, on February 17, 2021 the County of Ocean adopted a Resolution extending the Ocean County’s OCCARES Grant Agreements to Ocean County Municipalities through December 31, 2021; and

WHEREAS, the County of Ocean has forwarded to the Township a copy of an OCCARESGRANT Agreement Addendum attached hereto as Exhibit A; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Township Council wish to continue to accept such funding; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, this 13th day of April, 2021, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:

  1. 1. The Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute the OCCARESGRANT Agreement Addendum between the Township of Jackson and the

County of Ocean.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Mayor and Township Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute any and all necessary documents in order to implement the intent of this Resolution.
