WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson, as a contracting unit may, without advertising for bids, purchase any materials, supplies, services or equipment under any contract or contracts entered into by the NJ Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury, for such materials, supplies, services or equipment pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12; and
WHEREAS, purchases/services made utilizing approved New Jersey State Contract Vendors meet the requirements of using a fair and open process; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council approved purchases/services from approved New Jersey State Contract Vendors for CY 2021 on January 12, 2021 by way of Resolution No. 072R-21; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department is seeking approval to amend Resolution No. 072R-21 to include the following vendors for CY 2021 under the approved New Jersey State Contract Vendors: Vendor: CDW Government LLC Municibid Contract: #20-TELE-01511 ID#1NJCP #19-GNSVI-00696 ID#1NJCP Purpose: Software Licensing Online Auction Amount: $50,000.00 Term: 5/25/21 – 5/24/26 5/1/19 – 4/30/22
WHEREAS, it is now the desire of the Township Council to approve the request of the Department of Purchasing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, does hereby approve amending Resolution No. 072R-21 to include CDW Government LLC and Municibid as authorized dealers to the list of approved NJ State Contract Vendors for CY 2021.
Copies of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Purchasing Department, and any other interested parties.
