NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, does hereby approve amending Resolution No. 073R-21 whereby updating the list of qualified vendors, amending contract dates, and amending anticipated spending amounts thereon.
Copies of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Purchasing Department and any other interested parties.

RESOLUTION 304R-21 TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TAX COLLECTOR TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ELECTRONIC TAX SALE
MOTION TO APPROVE BY: SAUICKIE MOTION SECONDED BY: FLEMMING YES: BORRELLI, CHISHOLM, SAUICKIE, FLEMMING, KERN
WHEREAS, NJSA 54:5-19.1 authorizes electronic tax sales pursuant to rules and regulations to be promulgated by the Director of the Division of Local Government Services, and;
WHEREAS, the Director of the Division of Local Government Services has approved NJ Tax Lien Investors/Real Auction.com to conduct electronic tax sales, and;
WHEREAS, an electronic tax sale is innovative and provides a greater pool of potential lien buyers, thus creating the environment for a more complete tax sale process, and;
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson wishes to participate in an electronic tax sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, in the County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. The Tax Collector is hereby authorized to participate in an electronic tax sale and submit same to the Director of the Division of Local Government Services if necessary.

TITLE: RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CANCELLATION OF TAXES FOR A 100% DISABLED VETERAN EXEMPTION ON BLOCK 5501 LOT 7

WHEREAS, The Department of Veteran Affairs determined that Clifford G Talmadge III at 251 Bartley Rd, Block 5501 Lot 7, has a service connected disability that was totally disabling effective 5/17/18 and has owned the above listed parcel since 4/7/21, and;
WHEREAS, the property owner has made application to the Township as a totally disabled veteran, which has been approved by the Municipal Assessor on 5/18/21 and;
WHEREAS, it is Township policy to grant the exemption for the current year, and up to two preceding years
