WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson, pursuant to N.J.S.A.40A:11-12a and N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.29(c) may by resolution and without advertising for bids, purchase any goods or services under the State Contract Purchasing Program; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funding exists and is available for this purpose, in account number C-04-55-840-006-929 and C-04-55-834-001-929; and
WHEREAS, the Township Council has considered the Department of Public Work’s need for the above vehicle; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
That the Township Council does hereby authorize the purchase of the above referenced vehicle with options in an amount not to exceed $45,996.50 from Beyer Ford, 170 Ridgedale Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960, an approved State Contract Vendor, #88727/1NJCP, which contract term expires 8/25/2021, with a properly executed purchase order.
A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to Robert Stauffer, the Purchasing Department and any other interested parties.

TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH T&M ASSOCIATES FOR THE NJDOT FY 2021 SUSAN DRIVE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $77,000.00

WHEREAS, there exists a need for professional engineering services related to the NJDOT FY 2021 Susan Drive Roadway Improvements Project in the Township of Jackson; and
WHEREAS, the performance of these services requires knowledge of an advanced type in a field of learning pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-2, and the Township has determined that T&M Associates has the ability and expertise to perform the Municipal services required by the Township and is duly qualified to serve as Special
