WHEREAS, Diane Festino currently serves as Deputy Registrar for the Township of Jackson with a term ending August 25, 2021; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Township Council to re-appoint Diane Festino as Deputy Registrar for a three year term.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jackson Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:

1. Diane Festino is hereby re-appointed as a Deputy Registrar for a three (3) term commencing August 26, 2021 and ending August 25, 2024.
2. Fees paid to the Deputy Registrar are paid in accordance with State Statutes and salary guidelines established by the Township of Jackson.
3. Copies of this resolution to appointee, Municipal Administrator, Township Registrar, Personnel Department, Finance Department and any other interested parties.

TITLE: AUTHORIZE PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,039.60 TO MULTI-TEMP MECHANICAL, INC. FOR HVAC RENTAL SERVICES FOR THE JACKSON TOWNSHIP SENIOR CENTER BUILDING

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson utilizes Multi-Temp Mechanical for preventative mechanical maintenance work at various Township facilities; and

WHEREAS, during CY 2021, the Department of Public Works utilized Multi-Temp Mechanical to provide additional HVAC installation and service for offices located within the Senior Center Building (not included in the yearly mechanical service contract); and

WHEREAS, the Senior Center is a designated cooling center within the Township of Jackson; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to incur HVAC rental costs from Multi Temp while the HVAC replacement project commences in the Senior Center building; and

WHEREAS, while there is considerable savings to the Township of Jackson in utilizing Multi-Temp Mechanical to provide this service, to do so would cause the aggregate spent within a 12-month period with this State Contract vendor to exceed $44,000.00; and

WHEREAS, Multi-Temp Mechanical has not made any reportable contributions to a Political or Candidate Committee in the Township of Jackson in the previous one year and this contract will prohibit Multi-Temp Mechanical from making any reportable contributions through the term of this contract; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funding exists for this purpose in Account No. 1-01-26-310-000-055 for the initial monthly rental charge of $7,019.80, and that the second monthly rental charge of $7,019.80 shall be
