WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson is in need of the services of additional alternate Prosecutors as certain religious holidays fall on the date for which Municipal Court is scheduled; and

WHEREAS, the Council wishes to appoint individuals to serve in that capacity in the absence of the Municipal Prosecutor and Alternate Prosecutor; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, this 14th day of September, 2021 by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:

The following individuals from the Township Attorney’s office be and they are hereby appointed as Alternate Prosecutors for the Township of Jackson for the year 2021 to serve in the event of the unavailability of both the Township’s regular Prosecutor and Alternate Prosecutor.

  1. Gregory P. McGuckin, Esq.
  2. Timothy J. McNichols, Esq.
  3. Martin J. Buckley, Esq.
  4. Kelsey A. McGuckin-Anthony, Esq.
  5. Patrick F. Varga, Esq.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Prosecutor shall be paid in accordance with the Contract previously entered into between the Township of Jackson and the law firm of Dasti, Murphy, McGuckin, Ulaky, Koutsouris & Connors for services as municipal attorney for the calendar year 2021 at the regular hourly rate.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Daniel F. Sahin, Camille Elluzzi, Steven A. Zabarsky, Esq., Bonnie Peterson, and Gregory P. McGuckin, Esq.
