WHEREAS, it is the desire of the governing body to authorize the execution of a Shared Services Agreement with the Jackson Township Board of Education for the use of Jackson Township’s fueling system.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:

1. That the governing body does hereby authorize the execution of a Shared Services Agreement with the Jackson Township Board of Education for the use of Jackson Township’s fueling system as set forth in the Agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein as Schedule A.
2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and the Township Clerk to attest to, respectively, the Shared Services Agreement, any other documents necessary to effectuate the terms of this resolution.
3. That the term of the agreement shall be effective for a term effective September 3, 2021 until such time as the DEP approves the use of the Board of Education's fuel tanks.
4. That a copy of the agreement referenced herein shall be kept on file and made available for public inspection at the Township Clerk's Office during normal business hours.
5. That a certified copy of this resolution, together with a copy of the agreement, shall be forwarded to the Township Administrator, Jackson Board of Education Business Administrator Michelle D. Richardson, and Jackson Department of Public Works.

TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH “WORLDPAY, LLC” FOR THE TOWNSHIP’S TAX PAYMENT SYSTEM

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has previously entered into an Agreement with FIS to provide credit/debit processing and checks/ACH clearing house services for the Township’s tax payment system; and

WHEREAS, the Township’s current software vendor, Edmunds, requires a new Merchant Agreement be signed by all municipalities to utilize their software because FIS has recently purchased WorldPay, LLC, the processor for credit/debit processing and check/ACH clearing house services and is the platform now utilized by FIS for these services; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council wishes to authorize the execution of said Agreement as requested by the Township’s software vendor, Edmunds, in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, this 14th day of September, 2021, by the Township Council of Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:

1. That the Mayor and Township Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to implement the intent of this Resolution and to execute the Agreement as set forth herein in Exhibit A.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Michael W. Campbell, Tax Collector.
