RESOLUTION 368R-21 TITLE: AMEND RESOLUTION 158R-20 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION, SUBMISSION AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE 2021 AREA PLAN CONTRACT PROGRAM GRANT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF SENIOR SERVICES THROUGH THE OCEAN COUNTY OFFICE OF SENIOR SERVICES SO AS TO ACCEPT ADDITIONAL FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,300.00, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $33,000.00
MOTION TO APPROVE BY: SAUICKIE MOTION SECONDED BY: FLEMMING YES: BORRELLI, SAUICKIE, FLEMMING, KERN ABSENT: CHISHOLM
WHEREAS, the Jackson Township Department of Senior Services received authorization via Resolution 158R-20 to submit the 2021 Area Plan Contract Program Grant through the Ocean County Office of Senior Services; and
WHEREAS, the Ocean County Office of Senior Services has determined that additional funding is available for the Township of Jackson in the amount of $15,300.00; and
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson is desirous of receiving said additional funds, bringing the total amount for the 2021 Area Plan Contract Program Grant from $17,700.00 to a total of $33,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey that:
The Jackson Township Council authorizes the execution, submission and acceptance of the 2021 Area Plan Contract Program grant through the Ocean County Office of Senior Services so as to apply for, and accept, additional funding in the amount of $15,300.00 for a total of $33,000.00.
A certified copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to Kate Slisky, Jackson Township Department of Senior Services and Patricia Schwark, Finance.

TITLE: APPROVE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER'S REPORT FOR MONTH OF AUGUST 2021
MOTION TO APPROVE BY: SAUICKIE MOTION SECONDED BY: FLEMMING YES: BORRELLI, SAUICKIE, FLEMMING, KERN ABSENT: CHISHOLM
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has submitted the August 2021 monthly report; and
WHEREAS, the Township Clerk has submitted the report to the Township Council for their approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
The Chief Financial Officer’s monthly report for August 2021 is hereby approved.
