WHEREAS, the Township now wishes to exercise its option for the fifth (5th) and final year of its Contract in accordance with the option price of 614,416.00 contained within said bid specifications and Contract;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, this 26th day of October, 2021, by the Township Council of Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:

  1. The Township hereby authorizes a one (1) year extension of its Contract with Solterra, as assignee of Central Jersey Waste and Recycling, Inc., for bi-weekly residential curbside recycling, which Contract shall now expire on December 31, 2022.
  2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the following:
