BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Jackson Township Police Department shall provide a quarterly accounting of all property obtained through the 1033 Program which shall be available to the public upon request; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect immediately and shall be valid to authorize requests to acquire (1) “DEMIL A” property that may be made available through the 1033 Program and (2) “DEMIL B through Q” property both of which may be made available through the 1033 Program during the time period for which this Resolution authorizes, with program participation and all property request authorization terminating on December 31, 2022.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

1. The Township Council of the Township of Jackson does hereby authorize and approve participation in the “Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO) 1033 Program” for no more than a one-year period, with authorization to participate from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022; and
2. The Township Council of the Township of Jackson does further authorize an application for the enrollment be made on behalf of the Township of Jackson.
3. The Township Council further agrees that the acquisition of any property by the Township of Jackson shall be approved by a Resolution adopted by a majority of the full membership of the governing body.
4. A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Township Administrator, Chief of Police and any other interested parties.

WHEREAS, Nasto Realty Investment has requested the release Performance Guarantees posted for 893 Hurley Road, Block 401, Lot 16, Jackson Township; and

WHEREAS, the Performance Guarantee consists of $19,494.00 in the form of a Letter of Credit; No.RA3P74 issued by UBS Financial Services Inc., and a Cash Bond in the amount of $2,166.00; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Schreiber of T&M Associates, Township Engineer, has reviewed and approved the release of said Performance Guarantees in letter report dated December 15, 2021, which letter report is made a part hereof; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council of the Township of Jackson has considered the application and the report of the Engineer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, that the Letter of Credit; No.RA3P74 issued by UBS Financial Services Inc., and a Cash Bond in the amount of $2,166.00, heretofore posted with the Township may and hereby is released on the condition that the applicant:
