Stormwater Management Report South Hope Chapel Rd. Subdivision Project #23184
In calculating stormwater runoff using the NRCS methodology, the appropriate 24-hour rainfall depths as developed for the parcel by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration shall be utilized.
The Ocean County 24-hour rainfall depths provided in the NJDEP BMP Manual Chapter 5 have been utilized which have been developed from NOAA Atlas 14.
Runoff shall meet the requirements at N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.6 and (a) 6iii(1) and (2) below: Runoff will meet the stormwater runoff quantity standards of N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.6 by meeting peak rate reductions per of N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.6(b)3. for each point of analysis as outlined below:
Design stormwater management measures so that the post-construction peak runoff rates for the current and projected two-, 10-, and 100-year storm events, as defined and determined pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.7(c) and (d), respectively, are 50, 75, and 80 percent, respectively, of the pre-construction peak runoff rates. The percentages apply only to the post-construction stormwater runoff that is attributable to the portion of the site on which the proposed development or project is to be constructed.
