Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the FDOT (or any owner) to fully design and construct a project. The contract work covers from initial design through construction completion. This contract type typically allows for faster construction of a project as design and construction can be on-going simultaneously.
