RESOLUTION NUMBER: 387R-10 TITLE: APPOINT MEMBER TO THE PATHFINDERS

MOTION TO APPROVE BY: RIVERE MOTION SECONDED BY: KAFTON YES: KAFTON, RIVERE, UPDEGRAVE, BRESSI & MARTIN

WHEREAS, there is a need to appointment an additional member to the Jackson Pathfinders; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3-152(D) of the Administrative Code of the Township of Jackson, it is the desire of the Township Council to fill said positions.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey as follows:

1. The Township Council does hereby authorize the appointment of the following individual to the Jackson Pathfinders for a term commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2011 pursuant to Chapter 3-152(D) of the Administrative Code of the Township of Jackson: Stephanie Brown
2. Appointees shall serve without compensation.
3. Copies of this resolution to Municipal Administrator, Director of Recreation, appointees and any other interested parties.

RESOLUTION NUMBER: 388R-10 TITLE: APPROVE TRAFFIC SIGNAL/ELECTRICAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON AND THE COUNTY OF OCEAN FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT C.R. #5 (EAST VETERANS HIGHWAY) AND C.R. #8 (BUTTERFLY ROAD) – GRAND BOULEVARD

WHEREAS, the County of Ocean has proposed to install a traffic signal light at C.R. #5 (East Veterans Highway) and C.R. #8 (Butterfly Road) – Grand Boulevard; and

WHEREAS, the County of Ocean has supplied to the Township a traffic signal agreement covering said intersection; and
