said Township, at which time all persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard concerning this Ordinance.
Prior to the second reading, a copy of this Ordinance shall be posted on the Bulletin Board in the Municipal Building and copies shall be made available at the Township Clerk’s Office in said Municipal Building to members of the general public who shall request such copies.

MOTION TO APPROVE ORDINANCE 04-05 ON SECOND READING, ADVERTISE THE NOTICE OF PASSAGE AND APPROVAL IN AN APPROVED NEWSPAPER AS REQUIRED BY LAW BY: KAFTON MOTION SECONDED BY: GIBLIN YES: GIBLIN, REILLY, SEDA, KAFTON & BRODERICK
WHEREAS, the Township currently serves as the enforcing authority for Fire District No. 1; and
WHEREAS, the Township Construction Official has recommended that Chapter 61 of the Township Code, entitled “Fire Prevention,” be amended in order to relieve the Township of the enforcement authority obligations; and
WHEREAS, the Township Committee desires to adopt the recommendation of the Township Construction Official and to transfer the enforcement obligations to Fire District No. 1 or to another authority as designated by Fire District No. 1;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean in the State of New Jersey, as follows:
The local enforcing agency established by Section 61-2 of this chapter for Fire District No. 1 shall be under the direct supervision
