TITLE: RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, OCEAN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT BETWEEN GREAT ADVENTURE AND JACKSON TOWNSHIP FOR A FIREWORKS DISPLAY AT JACKSON DAY

WHEREAS, Jackson Township sponsors an annual “Jackson Day” at which a fireworks display is part of the celebration; and

WHEREAS, Jackson Township desires to contract with Great Adventure for the fireworks exhibition display; and

WHEREAS, the contract shall be in the amount of $-0-, as said fireworks will be donated by Great Adventure in accordance with such other terms of the attached contract; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Committee of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:

The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with Great Adventure for the purchase of fireworks for Jackson Day and for the exhibition of a fireworks display on that date, which is September 21, 2002, with a rain date of September 22, 2002.
That upon the adoption of this Resolution, the Clerk is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of it to the Municipal Administrator, the Chief Financial Officer and Great Adventure

TITLE: RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, OCEAN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY AUTHORIZING RELEASE TO RYAN HOMES OF THE CASH BOND ISSUED FOR BLOCK 66.09, LOT 2.13

WHEREAS, Ryan Homes has requested the Release of a Cash Bond in the amount of $1,500.00 pertaining to 15 Cranberry Court, a/k/a Block 66.09, Lot 2.13, Jackson Township; and

WHEREAS, Ernest J. Peters, P.E., Township Engineer, CME Associates, has reviewed and approved the release of said cash bond in a letter report dated August 22, 2002,
