WHEREAS, the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.) requires that the Notice of a resolution authorizing the award of contracts for “Professional Services” without competitive bids must be publicly advertised; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that a maximum of $25,000.00 is available for this purpose.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Committee of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey as follows:

  1. 1. Peter Maher is hereby appointed to provide professional appraisal services for the Township of Jackson for Open Space Acquisitions on the following properties:

  3. A Notice of this appointment shall be advertised as required by law.
