WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Mayor and Township Committee to amend Resolution 289R-02 which establishes new hours of operation for the municipal offices within the Township of Jackson; and

WHEREAS, the new hours of operation will provide more convenience and service to the public; and

WHEREAS, these hours of operation shall commence on August 31, 2002 and end upon completion of the construction of the municipal building;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY that:

  1. The hours of operation for municipal offices shall be 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
  2. In addition, the hours of operation within the main municipal complex shall be 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM until completion of construction of the main municipal complex.
  3. Copies of this resolution to all Department Heads, Municipal Administrator, Personnel Manager and any other interested parties.

TITLE: APPROVE PROMOTION OF DIANE FESTINO TO SENIOR CLERK

WHEREAS, a need exists in the Tax Collector's Office for the appointment of personnel to the position of Senior Clerk; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Township Committee have determined that it is in the best interest of the Township of Jackson to promote an individual within the Tax Collector's Office to this position;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY that:

  1. 1. The following is hereby promoted to the position of Senior Clerk in the Tax Collector’s Office on a provisional basis pending Department of Personnel Certification at an annual salary of $22,873 effective immediately.
