MAYOR BRODERICK: He addressed Attorney Starkey regarding the Open Space Program. He stated that Mr. Strauss would like to move forward expeditiously to get some perspective land buys approved. He asked if they could memorialize this now and then put it into Resolution form to get it moving? DENISE GARNER, 14 EVERGREEN COURT: She began by saying she was here on behalf of the Jackson Marching Band and she thanked the Committee for the tractor that they donated to them. SHERRY GUIDO, 44 ANTHONY WAY: She spoke about the letter she wrote to the Committee that she placed in the Jackson Times. She said she understood they will not answer her on many of these issues because of the lawsuit. She explained to them that by holding up the permits they are denying her daughter a bigger bedroom. She told them she doesn't understand why they won't issue the permits. In closing, she commented that it's not just her daughter but other children in the park too. She asked them to reconsider.
KEVIN TINNEY, 74 LEWIS LANE: He too asked why the Township hasn’t given Mr. Terhune his license so he can get his permits. He said he has a $28,000 trailer that he purchased that is being destroyed. He has about $5,000 worth of damage now because kids keep breaking into it. He was promised a space in this park. He explained that he already has one trailer there and was planning to rent this one out to other tenants at an affordable price. Committeeman Kafton told him they understand the concerns of everyone in this park and they are more than welcome to come up and express them. He wanted to let them know in advance they are in a lawsuit and are unable to speak. They always hold the best interest of the community at hand, but can’t get into this conversation. They are not trying to ignore them.
JOHN DELANEY, 45 LUXURY CIRCLE: He stated that this is 2002 and whether you have a lawsuit against this gentlemen or he has a lawsuit against you, what is wrong with following rules? He asked why they can't get these rules taken care of whatever rules are being broken? He asked the Mayor and Deputy Mayor if they received his phone call this weekend? He spoke about how Mr. Grillo shows up and tells them that Mr. Terhune is allowed to make these temporary repairs on his septic systems above the ground.
