ORDINANCE 37-02
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, the following:
Section 1. Section 103-60 – Schedule XVJ: Prohibited turns at intersections. In accordance with the provisions of Section 103-21, no person shall make a turn at any location listed and only in the manner described

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon final passage and publication as required by Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Township Committee of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
A. Regulatory signs shall be erected and maintained to effect the above prohibited
turn and designating “right turn only”.
Effect of Ordinance:
If any part of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of the Ordinance.
If any section, subsection, paragraph sentence of any part of this ordinance is adjudged unconstitutional or invalid, such judgment shall not affect impair or invalidate the remainder of this ordinance not directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final passage and publication as required by law.
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be forwarded to Ocean County Engineering Department and the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders for their acceptance. Upon County approval, one certified copy of this Ordinance will be forwarded to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced and passed on first reading at a regular meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Jackson, in the County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, held on August 26, 2002, and will be considered for second reading and final passage at the regular meeting of said Governing Body to be held on the 9th day of September, 2002, at 7:30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as this matter can be reached, at the meeting room of the Municipal Building in said Township, at which time all persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard concerning this Ordinance.
