WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 46:30(B)-50 (Uniform Unclaimed Property Act) the Jackson Township Police Department provided written notice to the above listed individuals indicating that the Jackson Township Police Department is in possession of unclaimed property; and

WHEREAS, the 60 day period of limitation has lapsed in accordance with the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act; and

WHEREAS, any property unclaimed after the 60 day period of limitation will become the possession of the Jackson Township Police Department and will be disposed of pursuant to applicable law and deposited in the Jackson Township General Trust Account entitled “Forfeiture Fund” pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:14-157; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Jackson Township Council to act upon the request of the Jackson Township Police Department as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:

1. That the above listed unclaimed property, originally held as evidence, now becomes the sole property of the Jackson Township Police Department and shall be disposed of pursuant to applicable law and deposited in the Jackson Township General Trust Account No. T-12-56-851-000-802 “Forfeiture Fund”.
2. Copies of this resolution to Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Chief of Police and any other interested parties.

TITLE: AUTHORIZE THE RENEWAL OF AMUSEMENT GAMES LICENSE TO SIX FLAGS GREAT ADVENTURE FOR CY 2014

MOTION TO APPROVE BY: UPDEGRAVE MOTION SECONDED BY: BRESSI YES: BRESSI, MARTIN, UPDEGRAVE, CALOGERO, NIXON

WHEREAS, Six Flags – Great Adventure has applied for a renewal of its amusement games license for those games listed on the attached “Schedule A” in accordance with Jackson Code Chapter 92, et seq.; and

WHEREAS, the premises being licensed in Block 3101, Lot 11 is located in a recognized amusement park with the Township of Jackson; and

WHEREAS, the proper fee has been paid and the appropriate investigation has been conducted by the Township and there is no objection to the renewal of these licenses.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean and State of New Jersey, as follows:

1. The amusement game licenses as listed on “Schedule A’ which is annexed hereto for the premises located on Block 3101, Lot 11 are hereby authorized to be renewed to the applicant, Six Flags – Great Adventure, for a term commencing this date and terminating December 31, 2014.
2. A certified copy of this resolution shall be transmitted together with copy of application and license certificate issued to the Commission of Amusement Game Control, the applicant and any other interested party.
