# TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 372-2025
#### AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO GRANTURK INC. THROUGH SOURCEWELL NATIONAL COOPERATIVE CONTRACT #110223-LEG FOR ONE LEACH 10 Yd. MINI REAR LOADER WITH ISUZU CHASSIS AND ACCESSORIES
WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of the Local Public Contract Law P.L. 2011, C.139 (the “Law” or “Chapter 139” and N.J.S.A.52:34-6.2 the regulations promulgated there under in Local Finance Notice LFN 2012-10, the following purchase without competitive bids from vendor with a National Cooperative Contract is hereby approved for municipalities; and
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has the need to procure certain Leach 10 Yd. Mini Rear-Loader w/lsuzu Chassis in accord with the Local Publics Contract Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. Seq., and
WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has previously acted in accord with New Jersey public procurement statutes and regulations as promulgated by formally joining a recognized and compliant national cooperative, being the Sourcewell National Cooperative through on December 15, 2023; and
WHEREAS the regulations as set forth within Local Finance Notice LFN 2012-10 have been fully complied with; and
WHEREAS, the Qualified Purchasing Agent has complied with the public notification provisions of public advertisement and has received no protests in accord with law and regulation; and
WHEREAS the Township is desirous of purchasing equipment for its public custodial duties through #110223-LEG for Granturk Equipment Co., One Schuylkill Parkway, Building B, Bridge Port, PA 19405-1069. including accessories and warranty for $182,218.34; and
WHEREAS the Chief Financial Officer certifies the funding is available in the amount of $182,218.34 from:
Account number: C-04-55-848-000-329 (CAPITAL)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That the Department of Public Works be and hereby is authorized Leach 10 Yd. Mini Rear-Loader w/lsuzu Chassis for $182,218.34, through sourcewell cooperative #110223-LEG for Granturk Equipment Co., One Schuylkill Parkway, Building B, Bridge Port, PA 19405-1069

2. That the Township Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the following:
A. Superintendent of Public Works
B. Chief Financial Officer.
C. Qualified Purchasing Agent
