TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 365-2025

AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A REQUIRED DISCLOSURE AWARD TO SAFETY FIRST EMERGENCY VEHICLES

WHEREAS, the Township of Jackson has the need for various equipment and upfitting of emergency vehicles as a required disclosure contract through Safety First Emergency Vehicles, 1 Havenwood Ct., Suite 501 Lakewood, N.J. 08701 pursuant to provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et. Seq., and

WHEREAS the value of the contract will exceed $17,500.00; and,

WHEREAS the Township has sought multiple quotes in accord with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-6.1; and

WHEREAS, Safety First Emergency Vehicles, 1 Havenwood Ct., Suite 501 Lakewood, N.J. 08701 has completed and submitted a Business Entity Disclosure Certification and Political Contribution Disclosure as per N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 and been advised of continuing obligations pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5, and

WHEREAS, the Chief Finance Officer has certified the funds not to exceed $24,211.37 for the aforesaid contract from:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, and State of New Jersey as follows:

  1. Safety First Vehicles is authorized as a required disclosure vendor for the procurement of various equipment and upfitting of emergency vehicles in the amount of $24,211.37.
  2. That the Township Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the following:
  3. Division of Purchasing
  4. OEM Coordinator
  5. Chief Financial Officer

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Business Disclosure Entity Certification and the Determination of Value be placed on file with this resolution
