RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AUTHORIZING THE RECREATION COORDINATOR TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT APPLICATION FOR FUNDING THROUGH THE OCEAN COUNTY CULTURAL & HERITAGE COMMISSION'S 2025 LOCAL ARTS PROGRAM GRANT TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES PROGRAM

WHEREAS, in order for the Township of Jackson to continue to offer programs such as the summer concert series it is necessary to seek out grant funds to help offset the cost of providing such services; and

WHEREAS, the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission provides grants to help offset the cost providing local arts programs.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Governing body of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey that the Recreation Coordinator is hereby authorized to prepare and submit an application for grant funding under the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission's 2025 Local Arts Program Grant to provide funding for the Summer Concert Series Program.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution shall be included with the 2025 Local Arts Program Grant application and forwarded to the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission and the Chief Financial Officer.
