TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON RESOLUTION 311-2025

RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, GRANTING APPROVAL FOR PROPOSED SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY T&M ASSOCIATES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 39 GEORGIAN BOULEVARD FOR RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE.

WHEREAS, after a fair and open process, T&M Associates was appointed as Township Engineer to provide engineering services during 2025 and has provided a proposal for Environmental Site Assessment and a GPR survey of the property located at 39 Georgian Boulevard, which proposal dated September 12, 2025 is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Schedule A; and

WHEREAS, the Township desires to develop the property for the purpose of stormwater management and recreational benefits; and

WHEREAS, there exists a need for these professional services to be provided in connection with the development of property due to recurrent flooding; and

WHEREAS, the Township Council wishes to accept T&M's proposal for Environmental Site Assessment, GPR Survey, and other related necessary services; and

WHEREAS, the term of the proposed contract from T&M Associates is for total project costs “not to exceed” $21,000.00 for all effort required for the proposed project,

  • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, this 25th day of September 2025 by the Town Council of Jackson Township as follows:
  • That T&M Associates is hereby assigned to perform Environmental Site Assessment and a GPR survey of the property located at 39 Georgian Boulevard in an amount not to exceed $21,000.00, in accordance with the T&M Associates correspondence dated September 12, 2025, attached hereto and made a part hereof as Schedule A.
  • That a certificate of availability of funds executed by the Chief Financial Officer is annexed hereto. The following are the line-item appropriations or ordinances which constitute the availability of funds for this contract: T-19-56-861-000-819.
  • That this resolution shall take effect immediately.
  • That a certified copy of this resolution shall be provided by the Township Clerk to the Chief Financial Officer and T&M Associates.
