➢ Weekday PM peak street hour: Level of service “B”, 14.8 seconds of delay.
Saturday AM peak street hour: Level of service "B", 12.9 seconds of delay.
Saturday PM peak street hour: Level of service "B", 15.9 seconds of delay.
Based on these signalized level of service analyses for traffic at the CR 537/I-195 westbound off-ramp access points, levels of service will be within acceptable traffic engineering parameters for Adventure Crossing.
CR 537/ANDERSON ROAD/BURNT TAVERN ROAD INTERSECTION
The CR 537 4-way Anderson Road/Burnt Tavern Road intersection, north of I-195, controlled by stop signs on the northbound and southbound approaches, currently operates at level of service "F" and will continue to operate at level of service "F" for the 2032 no-build and build traffic volumes. Monmouth County currently has a consultant conducting an evaluation of this intersection to improve safety and capacity.
CR 537 AND CR 526/571 INTERSECTION
At the CR 537 and 526/571 signalized intersection, findings were that this 4-phase 95 second cycle signalized intersection would operate as follows:
➢ Weekday PM peak street hour: Level of service “D”, 42.0 seconds of delay.
> Saturday AM peak street hour: Level of service “D”, 45.7 seconds of delay.
Saturday PM peak street hour: Level of service "C", 31.1 seconds of delay.
Based on the foregoing analyses, the intersection will operate within acceptable traffic engineering parameters with the 2032 build traffic volumes and the existing signal operations and geometry.
