WHEREAS, it shall be the responsibility of said Six Flags Great Adventure to supply to the Township the renewed fireworks permit prior to the August 8, 2008 date or this resolution shall expire and be of no force and effect for future fireworks displays; and

WHEREAS, the current State Permit to store explosives No. 08494 issued by the State of New Jersey, expires March 31, 2009; and

WHEREAS, the appropriate Township Officials have either inspected or have no objection to the issuance of a permit to the applicant.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jackson Township Council, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey that:

1. A fireworks permit is hereby authorized to be issued pursuant to N.J.S.A 21:3-3 to Six Flags, Great Adventure for CY 2008 within said amusement park.
2. The Township Clerk is hereby authorized to issue the aforesaid permit to the applicant and forward a copy of said permit to the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry.
3. The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of it to July-4-Ever, 382 Rock Cut Road, Walden, New York 12586, appropriate Township Officials and any other interested parties.
