THEREFORE, the Dubuque County Board of Supervisors hereby approves and authorizes the Chairperson to sign Qwest Centrex Prime Rate Stability Service Agreement and Qwest Total Advantage Monthly Assessment Agreement for Dubuque County telephone services for a twelve month period.

Motion by Manternach, seconded by Smith, carried unanimously to approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 09-184.

DAMAGE CLAIM - ALICE WELTER FOR VEHICLE DAMAGE

Motion by Manternach, seconded by Smith, carried unanimously to refer the claim to the County Attorney.

RESOLUTION - APPROVE RIGHT-OF-WAY DOCUMENTS FOR FARLEY ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS, PROJECT ESFM-C031(61)-5S-31

Motion by Smith, seconded by Manternach, carried unanimously to table the resolution until later in the meeting to review the crop damage issue.

RESOLUTION 09-185 - APPROVE RIGHT-OF-WAY DOCUMENTS FOR ELMWOOD DRIVE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, PROJECT L-59-73-31

WHEREAS, it is necessary to secure right-of-way located in Section 23 of Table Mound Township, T88N-R2E, to replace Dubuque County bridge #1212 (FHWA 146495) on Elmwood Drive, Project L-59-73-31, and

WHEREAS, right-of-way has been secured according to Title III of the 1970 Uniform Relocation Assistance and Land Acquisition Policies Act,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Dubuque County, Iowa, hereby approve and direct the Chair to sign the necessary right-of-way documents with property owners for the bridge replacement on Elmwood Drive.
