WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the proposal on the 8th day of September, 2009, pursuant to the published notice;

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the foregoing proposal is approved and the Chairperson is authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed conveying the County's interest in the described property, to Iowa Department of Transportation, for the sum of $1.00.

Motion by Smith, seconded by Manternach, carried unanimously to approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 09-178.

PUBLIC HEARING - FINLEYS LANDING ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS, PROJECT L-200-73-31

Chair Demmer opened the public hearing.

County Engineer Mike Felderman explained the bridge replacement project and told the Board that the majority of the funds will be from FEMA.

Motion by Smith, seconded by Manternach, carried unanimously to close the public hearing.

Motion by Smith to proceed to a bid letting. Motion withdrawn.
