RESOLUTION 09-177 - APPROVE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR FINLEYS LANDING ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS, PROJECT L-200-73-31
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by Dubuque County and approved by the Dubuque County Engineer for bridge replacements on Finleys Landing Road, Project L-200-73-31, and
WHEREAS, a portion of this project cost will be reimbursed by FEMA,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Dubuque County, Iowa hereby approve the plans and specifications for said project.
Motion by Manternach, seconded by Smith, carried unanimously to approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 09-177.
DAMAGE CLAIM - JOSH JASPER FOR VEHICLE DAMAGE
Motion by Smith, seconded by Manternach, carried unanimously to receive and refer the claim to the County Attorney for submittal to the insurance company.
DAMAGE CLAIM - PEGGY REIFF FOR VEHICLE DAMAGE
Motion by Smith, seconded by Manternach, carried unanimously to receive and refer the claim to the County Attorney for submittal to the insurance company.
RESOLUTION - FINAL PAYMENT APPLICATION #14 FOR THE COURTHOUSE REMODELING PROJECT
Motion by Smith, seconded by Manternach to table the resolution and forward a second letter to Jerry Anderson of Anderson Design & Consulting to request a report of any changes that were made for the shoring and a description of all of the repairs that were done throughout the courthouse. Motion carried with Smith and Manternach voting aye and Demimer voting nay.
COMMUNICATION - FROM REUTER DAIRY, INC. REGARDING COUNTY RECEIPT OF IDNR MANURE MANAGEMENT PLAN
Motion by Manternach, seconded by Smith, carried unanimously to receive and file the communication and refer to the Health and Zoning departments.
