RESOLUTION 09-172 - AGREEMENT AND ATTACHMENTS WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE BUSINESS RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, #08-DRB-209
WHEREAS, Dubuque County has been presented with an Iowa Department of Economic Development CDBG Business Disaster Recovery Contract and related attachments for #08-DRB-209 for the Business Rental Assistance Program.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Dubuque County Board of Supervisors hereby approves and authorizes the Chairperson to sign the Iowa Department of Economic Development CDBG Business Disaster Recovery Contract and related attachments for #08-DRB-209 for the Business Rental Assistance Program.
Motion by Smith, seconded by Demmer to approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 09-172, subject to the County being paid full administrative fees and audit fees, if applicable. Motion carried with Smith and Demmer voting aye and Manternach voting nay.
WORKSESSION - AUDITOR REGARDING COUNTY TELEPHONE SERVICE OPTION
The Board met with County Auditor Denise Dolan, Courthouse Maintenance Director Rich Basten and Mike Mulnix from Linx Solutions regarding the telephone contract with Qwest.
WORKSESSION - AUDITOR REGARDING YEAR END FISCAL REPORTS
The Board met with County Auditor Denise Dolan regarding the year end fiscal reports, fiscal year 2010 fund transfers and the upcoming budget calendar.
WORKSESSION - HEALTH DIRECTOR AND BOARD OF HEALTH
The Board met with County Health Director Paul Buss and Board of Health members Pearl Scherrman and JoAnn Delaney regarding the septic inspections at Stonefront Restaurant, Budde's C-Store and at the residence of Darlene Dyer. The Board also discussed the status of the county animal ordinance regarding animal licensing.
