WHEREAS, Dubuque County is required by Iowa Code 317.7 to submit an annual Weed Commissioner’s report to the state secretary of agriculture.

WHEREAS, such report shall state the name and location of all primary noxious weeds, and any new weed which appears to be a serious pest; a detailed statement of the treatment used, and future plans, for eradication of weeds on each infested tract on which the commissioner has attempted to exterminate weeds, together with the costs and results obtained; and a summary of the weed situation within the jurisdiction, together with suggestions and recommendations which may be proper and useful;

NOW THEREFORE, the Dubuque County Board of Supervisors approves and authorizes the Chair to sign the 2026 Weed Commissioner's Report and 2027 Weed Commissioner Certification as submitted by the Dubuque County Weed Commissioner.
